Features
SmartCure System™: Temperature controlled zones- all zones will be automatically temperature controlled for accurate concrete heating temperatures. This system will provide the ability for remote monitoring and controlling. The remote wireless Thermister sensors send the individual zone temps back to the GPT 300, allowing it to make proper temperature adjustments throughout the layout according to the temperature specifications set by the overseeing agency. After the Heat Hydration period the temperatures will reduce gradually to reduce shock to the concrete when the blankets are removed. This will also allow fuel savings as the machine will cycle off much more, once maturity has been reached. The machine will shut down once concrete has reached ambient temperature.
Maturity Predictor: This software predicts the maturity of concrete based on the stats of the mix and temperatures. Also available are wireless Thermister temperature sensors. It allows the system to control the temperature of the concrete based on strength prediction.
SmartThaw System™: This utilizes the remote sensors to be placed in the ground to determine the depth of the frost. The sensors are placed in the ground throughout the thaw area and report back to the system. Once the thaw is complete the system will go into a frost prevention cycle. This will provide extensive fuel savings, and takes the guess work out of if the thaw is complete or not.
Remote Monitoring System: The system utilizes sensors to monitor temperature, power, pressure, fuel. If there is a problem the system will immediately text and email to the operator immediately. The system can be accessed via the internet and can be monitored real time. GPT will host the website and provide the customer a link to the Remote Monitoring System for each piece of their equipment.
Report Data: Users are able to print a full report detailing all aspects of the machine’s performance during and upon completion of the project; average temperatures of the Zones, power interruptions, etc. This information can be provided to the DOT, engineering firm, Contractor or customer to satisfy any questions, or fulfill any requirements.
Auto Start System: The electronic controls will run the start up in the necessary sequence by pre-warming the control box via an electric blanket, pressurizing the system, bleeding the system of air, starting the circulation pumps, and firing the boilers. This will be a one touch start up system.
Onboard Fuel Pre-heater: For optimum fuel efficiency, fuel is preheated this adds approximately 4% fuel savings. Also, this helps prevent gelling in extreme cold weather conditions. Bio diesel has phenomenal energy savings capabilities but tends to gel quite easily, so the Pre-heater enables the GPT 300 to use Bio Diesel in cold weather conditions.
Fail Safe Power: Should the 110 power be interrupted the on board Genset will automatically start up to provide continued operation of the equipment. Text will be sent out to notify of Fail Safe Power activation. Internet will email notification and it will also be highlighted on the website as an alert.
Removable SmartManifolds™: These are used to allow the expansion of the unit to do more square feet of curing. These manifolds are controlled by the SmartCure System™ and have individual zone temperature control capability.
Removable Standard Manifolds: These are stored in the unit and are compact to where one person can carry it and easily set it up using its fold up legs (as are SmartManifolds™). These allow access hard to reach places for thawing. They also allow the machine to spread out a thaw without wasting linear feet of zone hose to get to the thaw area.
Removable Hose Reel: This reel has a variable speed drive with a low voltage foot pedal for easy rewind and unwind. It is easy to remove and allows for greater service access, as well as the flexibility to be removed from the machine and used as a portable Hose Reel, if necessary.
Portable Hose Reels: These allow for expansion of the unit to do more square feet of curing; up to 25,200 sq. ft. They have built in Fork Pockets for jobsite portability with the use of Fork Lifts. Portable Trailer Mounted: The system will be trailer mounted for portability to construction sites. The basic system provides either 8,400 sq. ft. of curing or thawing from the totally self contained system on the trailer.
Fork Pockets: These allow for easier portability on job sites. Rough Terrain Forklifts, that are readily available on jobsites, can easily move this equipment around.
Removable Tongue: Some customers prefer a skid style unit, so a removable tongue has been designed into the Trailer. The axel and wheels can easily be removed, thereby allowing the machine to be converted to a skid mount.
Double Boiler System: Double boilers offer several advantages. When doing smaller jobs, fuel is saved by not firing up one large boiler to bring the system to temp. On larger jobs, should one boiler fail than the other will act as an emergency back up to keep the concrete from freezing or frost to re-enter the ground. Should a boiler fail the Remote Monitor will immediately notify the operator via text and email. Boiler sequencing on smaller jobs maintains equal longevity of the boiler life. They will run equal amounts of time during operation, should only one of the boilers be necessary to run.
Emergency Stop Switch: On many jobsites equipment is mandated to have emergency shutdown capability on the outside of the machine.
Manual Overrides: As back up for all of the automated features of the GPT 300 the system can be overridden with manual controls should a component fail. This will prevent the system from being rendered useless in most circumstances of failure.
Plug ‘n’ Play Control Box: The entire system is built with the logic of "Plug 'n' Play" The components in the control box are easy to plug in and out. Spare components are stored in the unit as are fuses in cars. One connection to the box will run the sensors that monitor and control the entire system. SmartManifolds™ easily plug into the box as well. The box will be completely removable and replaceable in case of emergency.
High Strength Reinforced Fiberglass Cage: The Cage will be manufactured with Recycled Reinforced Fiberglass in it. It is designed as one piece for easier maintenance and repair.
Remote Space Heaters: These portable, hydronic space heaters are an option feature for heating a building. They provide hot, non toxic, dry air to the work area.
187 Gallon Fuel Tank: The size of the tank is important in relation to the run time of the machine. The minimum runtime standard should be from Friday to Monday. This is a 72 hour runtime. This allows the equipment to function without refueling while the jobsite is closed. The tank is also located inside the machine allowing it to utilize the warm temperature, eliminates gelling and assists in the Fuel Pre-heater in warming the fuel to optimum combustion temperature. Built into the trailer is a drip pan, as some jobsites require this feature.
Auto Depressurize: While the low pressure system is the most effective design; its one flaw is the difficulty caused with connecting the couplers due to the stored pressure. It also enhances leaking in the system. The GPT 300 solves this problem through an auto depressurizing at shut down & hose disconnect.
